Newark Town Football Club Limited is registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965. We are known as an Industrial and Provident Society (IPS) or a Community Benefit Society and are regulated by the Financial Services Authority.

The club is a recognised legal entity that can issue shares. Each shareholder (member) can only own one share. The club is wholly owned by its members who come from the local community and have a vested interest in the success and growth of the club. No single person or entity can dominate the ownership structure.

In order for the club to grow on a sustainable basis, we encourage our players (over 18), our volunteers, our players parents and relatives and our supporters, to purchase annual membership for £10.00/year. Not only will this give you the opportunity to be a shareholder of the club (one share), but to also participate and vote in the AGM and nominate yourself to become a Board Director.

All members receive a personalised share certificate and membership card.
