About the team

Newark Town is a mixed-gender U8s team playing 5-a-side football.

New players are welcome to join but the squad is limited to a maximum of eight on match day. We would like nothing more than to form a second team, but we are in need of a manager to take a group, if you are interested please contact the Youth lead, Josh Feehily. Players are of course welcome to join the team for training.

Newark Town will compete in the Newark YEL Under 8s. As this is a non-competitive league results are not recorded and a table is not published.

The aim of Newark Town FC is to develop the player, develop the team and develop the club.
At U8 the playing philosophy is to have fun and enjoy playing football. Players will develop and learn at different rates. We offer a safe environment for the children to Learn, Grow and Socialise.
All players will be given equal pitch time throughout the season.
Please remember to bring football boots, shin guards and a water bottle.
