Newark Town FC is delighted to announce the appointment of not one, but two, extremely experienced and well respected ‘top-flight’ men to join the First Team fold.

Ex-player and manager, Nick Andersen takes the reigns, alongside popular Newark Town stalwart, Luke Parsons, as Joint Managers of our newly promoted Step 6 side.

Having enjoyed a vast playing career at Mansfield Town, Lincoln City, Nuneaton Borough, Tamworth, Leek Town, Grantham Town and Bedworth United, Nick joins us with a huge back story most notably managing UCL Premier Leicester Nirvana taking them to a league cup win, as well as Harrowby United and Stamford based Blackstones Football Club. Before that, Step 4 club, Spalding United.

Luke Parsons is Newark Town FC through and through and we could not be happier that he has decided to return to the club as Joint Manager at this exciting time in our club history.

His boots may not come out this time around, rather, he will be channelling all his energy and his strong motivational skills in steering our 2022/23 squad, alongside Nick.

It is certainly coming together very nicely for the Blue Army and local Newark football.

You don’t have to step a single foot out of this town to watch some serious calibre football and with the new state of the art facilities at the YMCA Activity Village and with more upgrades and progression to come, Newark Town FC really is the only club that has it all going on.

Welcome on board Nick and Luke. The sky is the limit and our ambition to facilitate quality local football is as strong as it ever was.
