Newark Town Football Club

Newark Town Titans are a fantastic team of amazing boys; having only formed in March 2024, they have already formed a fantastic team of footballers who have become great friends. With a huge desire to learn and a great passion to succeed, they are a joy to be around.

Newark Town Titans currently compete in the YEL U8 Sat Group 4 Blue 2024. As this is a non-competitive league, results are not recorded and a table is not published.

The aim of Newark Town FC is to develop the player, develop the team and develop the club. A huge inspiration to do this is to build upon the boys love for the game of football.

At Under 8s, the primary playing philosophy is to have fun and enjoy playing football. Players will develop and learn at different rates. Important life skills will be learnt along the way; sportsmanship, teamwork, respect, perseverance, discipline and leadership.

All players WILL be selected to play if they are available. Managers endeavour to give each player equal game time.

Training sessions will be held on a weekly basis. Parents and players will be given as much notice as possible with information regarding training and games; whether they are league games or friendlies. With a brilliant group of supportive parents, the team collaborate well. All suggestions are welcomed, and any queries are answered to the best of our ability.

Please remember each player must bring their own football boots, shin pads (full length with ankle supports) and water bottle. This includes appropriate clothing dependant on the weather.
