On 28 February 2012 Newark Town Football Club Limited was registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965. Register number 31547 R. Newark Town Football Club Limited is regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
At the final Annual General Meeting of Newark Town Football Club (an unincorporated association) held on 17 June 2012 the assets were transferred to the newly formed legal entity and the old club was dissolved. Newark Town Football Club Limited now administers all aspects of Newark Town Football Club matters.
At the first Annual General Meeting held on 17 June 2012 the following directors were elected; Paul Baggaley, Kevin Clayton, Jim Todd, Dave Roberts, Nigel Hyams, Paul Dobb and Chris Wade. At the first board meeting the directors elected Paul Baggaley as Chairman, Kevin Clayton as Treasurer and Jim Todd as Society Secretary.
