Great display

Today we welcomed Gonerby to Devon park for the return to our 3-0 loss at the beginning of the season. Unlike our 1st game where we finished with 8 players I had 12 to choose from. Firstly I would like to thank Nathan for coming today after he had lost his Grandad midweek. R.I.P Pete you will be missed. Nathan had an awesome game today getting himself M.O.M and Parents Player well done mate. We were all over them from the start and the lads were just up for it winning everything 1st ball, 2nd balls and 50-50 challenges. It was working well down the wings, creating chances and some good crosses our goal was surely going to come sooner rather than later. Deadlock broken Harry getting our first with a great ball through the middle from Clayton. Our passing game was spot on and we were to hot too handle for Gonerby. Will T met yet another cross, tried to divert it goalwards with a flick only to miss it but then found it back at his feet and made sure of it this time 2-0. Half-time. 2nd half with a few changes and we started where we left off pressing everything and working for each other. Lots of efforts on target from our boys. Danny, Ben P, Cameron and Will F Cleared Everything up at the back. Rob, Will T, Sam, Judah, Ben H and Harry worked tirelessly in midfield. Clayton played really well upfront creating lots and nearly shattering the post as he hit a shot that hard if it hadn't hit the post it would of ended up on the estate somewhere. Really pleased how the boys are playing at the minute they are playing for one another and they are laying as one.
