Newark Cavaliers Vs Farndon Colts
By Gary Cooper
The Cavaliers had a strong first half up the slope even if technically below par, but going in behind to a Farndon who made quicker and better decisions, and pressed Newark hard, forcing errors and nervous decisions.
Newark came out second half with the higher ground and a new shape, and scored in the first minute. Farndon regrouped and answered with a goal against the flow of play almost immediately .
For the next 20 minutes of the second have Farndon made the most of Newark's poor control and a lack of desire. Farndon wanted it more and Newark spent all their energy making up for mistakes on the ball, slow decisions and loss of shape. Farndon smelled blood and put Newark to the sword. The game was lost for Newark in midfield, in their heads and in their hearts.
