Newark Town are pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Daws and Tony Joynes as joint First Team managers for season 2016/17. Simon Daws has a long and proven record in management, having been manager at East Midlands Counties League side Holwell Sports for the past eight seasons, and at Cottesmore Amateurs for five years before that. Tony Joynes returns to the club for his third stint having spent last season at United Counties League side Harrowby United. The club are confident that the appointments will signal an upturn in fortunes in the forthcoming season.
