Newark Town took control of the game for parts of the 2nd half, but Tideswell added to their tally on 60 minutes and 88 minutes.
With a long range shot by Morgan Chappell, which the goalie did not hold onto, Thomas Johnson scored as it came back off the keeper, for Newark to score a consolation goal on 90 minutes.
