Cuptime was here again

Last game before the Christmas break and the boys were ready

On an extremely wet pitch the boys were wanting to get going you could see that every single one of them was up for this, the match kicked of and immediately the Trojans got themselves on top, there were a few early exchanges but after the first 10 minutes the Trojans flexed their muscles, Nojus picked up the ball on the half way line and played the ball infield into Oliver Walsh who played a beautiful defence splitting ball through to Max Oldfield who did what he does best and slipped it by the keeper with ease to make it 1 - 0, the Trojans then had a couple of stonewall penalty appeals turned away but it made no difference, the boys kept rolling on then the chance came when Nojus picked up the ball from distance beat two defenders and lashed the ball into the net to make it 2 - 0 at half time.
The second half was no different and the boys kept their foot on the gas and the second half was only a couple of minutes in and Nojus got the ball sprinted down the wing crossed it over to Toby who spanked it into the net to make it 3, the next one was again made by Nojus this time his cross was deflected into their own net for a OG, the next was the goal of the game in my opinion, the keeper fluffed his kick out and it fell to Jack who was positioned well outside the area he controlled the ball well took a couple of stride and composed himself for a top corner belter from way out this made it 5. Next was an all round team goal with Harley passing it out to Alex who played it to Nojus who exchanged passes with Max and Jack who then passed it across to Oliver who finished cooly for 6, number 7 came for Toby who found himself in some good space and dispatched it well into the net for his 2nd, the last goal came for Max but the pass made it Tyler picking up the ball travelling forward and playing a perfectly paced pass right through the middle of the park and left Max one on one to finish like a pro.

Well done boys a great result and a clean sheet also, everyone of the boys put in a good shift, with Tyler picking up a well deserved man of the match.
Happy Christmas Boys!!!
