JUNIOR DISCIPLINE OFFICER WANTED

Newark Town FC are looking for a new Junior Discipline Officer.

Newark Town FC are looking for a new volunteer Junior Discipline Officer to work with the Youth Lead, Club Secretary and Club Welfare Officer to support the Club with any and all discipline issues in the Clubs’ youth section.

The role is suitable for anyone with good interpersonal skills/communication and a good knowledge of grassroots football. Whilst experience in legal issues is not essential, it would be hugely beneficial, but the Club will happily help with any training opportunities that may arise.

YOUTH SECTION DISCIPLINE OFFICER RESPONSIBILITIES

ROLE: To maintain the standards of discipline within the Club by investigating and dealing any disciplinary matters consistently, fairly and in line with the Clubs’ Code of Conduct and the FA Disciplinary Rules and Regulations.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Youth Lead, Club Secretary, Club Welfare Officer

DUTIES:
• Deal with all disciplinary incidents raised within the club
• To make a judgement and respond to FA charges studying evidence collated by the Club and or FA
• To provide information to the club players, officials and parents regarding disciplinary matters
• Liaise with and provide regular updates to the Youth Lead and the Club Secretary regarding ongoing disciplinary issues

IDEAL/KEY SKILLS FOR ROLE:
• Legal background or experience with FA Disciplinary Rules and Regulations
• Experience of grassroots football
• Good interpersonal skills.

TIME COMMITMENT:
Roughly 2 hours per week, this may increase or decrease depending on active disciplinary cases
