Match Preview

This will be a first for Newark Town - Friday night football.

This is one of a series of matches arranged by the league in the hope of attracting more spectators, Friday being the one night when there is usually no local football so hopefully we can add a few to the gate.

Thanks go to our near neighbours Bilsthorpe for agreeing to play on a Friday evening. We had two tight games with Bilsthorpe last season, the away team winning 2-1 on both occasions, but both teams have fallen on harder times this season. Bilsthorpe are one place above the Blues, having beaten Easington, Welbeck and Askern, so we can expect a close game.
