Newark Town Girls Development Centre (Sunday)

Newark Town Girls Development Centre (Sunday)

We are delighted to welcome back our Newark Town Girls Development Centre.

The centre was formed in October 2017 and has gone from strength to strength attracting many girls aged 4 - 12 years to football and the club.

We offer girls the opportunity to learn new skills, have fun, gain confidence and eventually, if they wish, play football for a team. However, if girls who already play for a team want to come along to develop their skills they are more than welcome. We are here to help support and encourage girls to play more football and love what we do.

This section has been running for 4 years and has produced enough girl footballers to form teams at U11s, U12s, U13s and U14s for the coming season. We are building an under 9s team that will look to join the league in September 2021.

We offer a safe and friendly environment for girls to learn football skills, have fun, gain confidence and make new friends. We are looking to train the girls up to a standard that will enable them to play in teams relevant to their age group. We are also happy to train them if they are not interested in playing for teams.

The centre is run by our FA qualified and licensed coaches and is run under Newark Town ethos and club rules.

All sessions are planned and structured to cover all elements of the game and designed to cover all abilities with a view to improvement.

The centre sessions are planned to consider and welcome new players whenever they join. No one will be left out and each child will be given support and encouragement to enable them to play football as part of a mixed or all girls team.

The sessions run every Sunday as follows
